It helps! Having their specific course textbook or digital workbook on hand allows us to work directly on the material they see in class. If they are working on a specific concept, I can also provide supplemental resources and practice problems.
Life happens, and I get that. I ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations to ensure I can offer that time slot to another student. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows are generally billed at the session rate to respect the time reserved for your student.
